The painter is a complete unit with drive and control panel mounted on a portable stainless steel tubular frame. Extruded bands of material pass through the stripper rolls prior to being cut to length by a reel cutter. The rolls are made from rubber disks which dips in a tray filled with vegetable red liquid. A pump maintains the liquid level in the tray by feeding it from a stainless steel tank. As the bands pass through, color lines are dyed on both the top and bottom to give the appearance of bacon.
