The metering feed hopper is a volumetric vibratory feeder designed to collect product for metering into the seasoning or coating tumbler. A spring suspended hopper collects the product from the feed conveyor allowing for minor surge capacity and is automatically actuated when filled with product. Twin high speed vibrators of correlated capacity attached to the hopper meter the product to the single Syntron feeder system. A fabricated pan with special 8' high sides that feed the product into the tumbler at a uniform rate and the entire system shuts down when empty of product. A complete single phase control panel not only controls the metering feed hopper but also controls the seasoning system mto eliminated waste.
