PURPOSE OF DESIGN
Developed during the 1960’s, the Maddox FCP-300 Extruder has been the most advanced fried collete extruder for over 40 years. This style of machine is operator friendly, easy to adjust, and has proven itself over many years by leading snack food manufacturers.
CHARACTERISTICS Production Capacity: Typically 275-320 lbs/hr (125-145 kg/hr) of raw collets and up to 365-425 lbs/hr (165-192 kg/hr) of fried collets. This extruder produces collets so that the length and diameter of the collets can be varied as required. The lengths can be varied by the knife arrangement. The diameter can be adjusted by the handwheel assembly.
Ingredients: Degerminated corn meal or degerminated corn grits are typically used. Up to 15% rice meal or 5% soy meal may be added.
Extruder Characteristics: The FCP-300 Extruder has a tubular steel frame available in standard stainless steel painted or optional white. A stainless steel hopper with 600 lbs. capacity is installed. The extruder is completely pre-wired and ready to run when shipped.
