PURPOSE OF DESIGN
The MXF-350 “Original Adams Style Fried Extruder” incorporates simplicity of design, ease of operation and the Maddox guarantee of quality to ensure the trouble free production of fried collets.
CHARACTERISTICS Production Capacity: 265 lbs/hr (120 kg/hr) of raw collets and 350 lbs/hr (159 kg/hr) fried collets. While this product is normally fried, it can also be baked. In this case, the finished capacity is 325 lbs/hr (147 kg/hr) even though this extruder produces only one shape. The length of the collets can vary from 2” to 4” (5.08cm to 10.16cm) by adjusting the arrangement similarly. The width of collets can be varied by adjusting the setting between the rotor and stator.
Ingredients: Degerminated corn meal or degerminated corn grits are typically used. Up to 15% rice meal or 5% soy meal may be added.
Extruder Characteristics:The MXF-350 has a painted tubular steel frame, a stainless steel hopper with 275lb. capacity and a push button “stop-start” station. It is wired per the customer’s electrical specifications. To vary the speed of the feed screw, an A/C inverter drive is used.
